Mycotoxin Testing: Protecting Cannabis Products from Carcinogenic Contaminants
At Brightside Scientific, we test for Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, and G2), Ochratoxins, and other Aspergillus-containing Mycotoxins. It is important we test for mycotoxins as they are known to be carcinogenic and especially for cannabis infused edibles. They can be found in wine, cereals, dried fruits, and coffee beans. If products with mycotoxins are ingested, they can cause severe kidney problems and neuropathic nerve pain.
